In order to ensure all 140 of our drivers are fully equipped with the skills and information they need to work from distance, fleet trainer, Vikki Downard recently put the team through their paces with our newly-developed FleetPlus software.
Each driver has now been equipped with handheld Sony ZTE devices and associated hardware to provide them with the apparatus required to complete this key step within our leading business process.
The job of our drivers involves the collection and delivery of fleet vehicles and importantly, vehicle inspection. With IT Fleet’s new FleetPlus software the collection and appraisal service becomes a paperless process. Electronic appraisals can contain unlimited imagery and capture customer signatures. Bespoke appraisals and damage recharges are also possible.
This is a significant step forward in terms of how we carry out our complete nationwide logistics service, allowing us to deal with requests with speed and efficiency.
